Mariah Carey and Lionel Richie announce tour, including stop in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY — Two musical icons are teaming up for a North American tour in 2017, and Mariah Carey and Lionel Richie are stopping in Salt Lake City next April.

Mariah Carey posted a photo of the pair on Instagram to announce the tour, saying presale tickets become available Monday. The show is coming to Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City on April 25.

Billboard reports this is Carey’s first tour in more than six years and the first time she and Richie have teamed up for shows.
