FARMINGTON, Utah — Alyssa Skabelund suffered a gruesome injury her sophomore year during a team bonding event at Pineview Reservoir where she lost a finger.
But after transferring to Farmington High the following year, she has thrived as a middle blocker for the Phoenix, minus a pinkie, leading Farmington to a 10-0 start.
