SANDY, Utah — A student-athlete at Alta High School has been hospitalized for more than a week after getting in a fight with a teammate, The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
The pair of 16-year-olds on the basketball team started arguing after an afternoon practice on Jan. 16, Canyons School District spokesman Jeff Haney said. The walked into the locker room “after some really physical play” and began physically fighting.
He had a seizure as a result and was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
