SALT LAKE CITY — An Air Force plane made an unscheduled stop at the Salt Lake City International Airport Wednesday afternoon after a crew member noticed a crack in a window.

Officials said the plane was traveling from the Travis Air Force Base in California to another base in Greensboro, North Carolina.

While in the air, a crew member noticed a small crack in one of the cockpit windows, officials said.

After noticing the crack, the plane landed safely in Salt Lake City.

No injuries were reported during the unscheduled stop and the plane suffered no other damage.

Officials are working to determine the timeline for fixing the plane so it can continue its flight.
