Ingredients
- 8 cups rice Chex cereal
- 1/2 cup strawberry dry cake mix
- 1 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup milk chocolate candy melts
- 1 cup white chocolate candy melts
- 1 cup valentine m&ms
- 2 tablespoons valentine hard candy
Directions
Portion your Chex into 2 large bowls, four cups in each bowl.
Combine strawberry cake mix and ½ cup powdered sugar in a medium sized bowl and set aside.
In a small microwave safe bowl, microwave milk chocolate candy melts for 1 minute. Gently stir and heat in 15 second increments or until smooth and creamy.
Pour smooth milk chocolate over one of the bowls of Chex and stir to coat the cereal as evenly as you can.
Add the coated cereal to a gallon sized ziplock bag, and scoop in ¾ cup of powdered sugar. Shake till cereal is coated evenly in mixture. Pour out onto parchment paper.
In a small microwave safe bowl, microwave white milk chocolate candy melts for 1 minute. Gently stir and heat in 15 second increments or until smooth and creamy.
Pour white milk chocolate candy over one of the bowls of Chex and stir to coat the cereal.
Add the candy coated cereal to a gallon sized ziplock bag, and scoop in 3/4 cup of the cake mix mixture.
Shake till cereal is coated in mixture. Pour out onto parchment paper.
Add chocolate Chex, strawberry Chex, m&ms and hard candies into a large bowl and mix together.
