SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Department of Health released the latest numbers Monday afternoon regarding the coronavirus numbers in Utah.
As of March 23, there are 257 known cases of COVID-19 in Utah.
5048 people have been tested for the disease to date.
One person has died of COVID-19 in Utah, a Bountiful man over 60 who had underlying health issues.
On Monday, health authorities with the University of Utah announced ARUP will test as many as 1,500 people per week, and plans to expand that capacity to 3,000 tests per week.
