650,000 total people tested for COVID-19 in Utah; no new deaths reported Saturday

The Utah Department of Health has released the latest COVID-19 numbers for the state of Utah.

New Cases
458 new COVID-19 cases have been reported since Saturday. This brings the statewide total to 51,406 since March.

Lab Tests
2,815 new tests were conducted, bringing the total number of people tested in Utah for the virus to 650,560.
The rolling seven-day average for positive tests is 366, or roughly 9.1% of those tested.

Hospitalizations
119 people are currently hospitalized. 3,057 have been hospitalized in connection to the virus since March.

Recoveries
43,342 people are considered to be recovered from the virus. The UDOH considers a person recovered when they have tested positive for the virus and have not passed away as a result of it after three weeks.

Deaths
No new deaths have been reported, keeping the statewide fatality rate at 407.
