SALT LAKE CITY — Utah's Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control has closed one of its most popular liquor stores after an employee tested positive for novel coronavirus.

The DABC announced Saturday the liquor store at 1255 W. North Temple (near the Utah State Fairpark) would be closed. Under protocols, the store will be sanitized and is expected to re-open on Monday.

The employee tested positive earlier in the week, left work immediately and did not have direct exposure to customers, the agency said.
