Four new deaths and 110 more confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Utah

SALT LAKE CITY — Four more people have died of COVID-19 in Utah, bringing the total number of deaths in the state to 45, according to the latest numbers released by the Utah Department of Health Tuesday.

There have been 110 new confirmed cases in Utah, bringing the total up to 4,343 total cases.

Hospitalizations since the outbreak began are at 370, up 21 from Monday.

2,244 more people have been tested for COVID-19 in Utah, with the total now at 102,439.

Governor Gary Herbert and State Epidemiologist, Dr. Angela Dunn, will both take part in today's daily media briefing at 1:30 p.m.

The briefing will be live streamed on the Fox 13 News website and Facebook page.
