It will be at 10:30 a.m. and he’ll also take part in the weekly COVID-19 news conference at 11:30 a.m.

Herbert is expected to announce any changes to the current COVID-19 public health order which expires at midnight.

The latest restrictions have been in place since December 9, and little changed from the order before it.

The statewide mask mandate and social distancing requirements are expected to remain in place, but bar owners hope to see a change in the rule that bans the sale of alcohol after 10 p.m. Ten bars and restaurants in Utah filed a lawsuit over the mandatory last call earlier this month. They say it hurts business and doesn't help stop the spread of the coronavirus.

Both the governor’s monthly news conference and the 11:30 COVID-19 update will be livestreamed on the FOX 13 Facebook page.
