Health Dept.: 1,074 COVID-19 cases in Utah; seven deaths

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Department of Health's latest COVID-19 counts show there are 1,074 lab-confirmed cases in Utah.

So far, the Health Department has received confirmed test results for 21,065 people.

100 of the 1,074 people who tested positive for COVID-19 in Utah have required hospitalization - a hospitalization rate of about 9.3 percent.

Seven people have died of COVID-19 in Utah.
