SALT LAKE CITY — One additional death due to COVID-19 in Utah was reported by the Utah Department of Health Thursday. That puts the total at 46.
177 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were also reported, bringing the total number of cases to 4672.
There have now been a total of 390 hospitaliztions in Utah since the outbreak began, with seven new hospitalizations since Wednesday.
2,723 more people have been tested, bringing that total to 108,501.
Dr. Angela Dunn, the state epidemiologist, will go over those numbers at the daily media briefing at 1:30 which will be live streamed on the Fox 13 News website and Facebook page.
Governor Gary Herbert will also address the state ahead of tomorrow's schedule shift from a "red" alert to orange.
