The Utah Department of Health has released Sunday's COVID-19 report.

448 new cases have been reported, bringing the statewide total to 51,854.

Lab Tests
4,947 new tests were conducted since Saturday’s reporting. 655,507 people have now been tested in Utah for COVID-19.
The seven-day average for positive tests is now 387, or approximately 9.1% of those tested.

Approximately 43,724 people have recovered from the virus. The UDOH considers a recovery to be a patient who tested positive for the virus three weeks ago and did not pass away because of it.

No new deaths have been reported for the second day in a row, keeping Utah’s fatalities at 407.
