ST. GEORGE, Utah — The Grab-and-Go lunch sites for the Washington County School District are becoming a concern for public officials.
Administrators there say they've been contacted by several local authorities.
In a Facebook post, the district sent a letter to parents.
It says, "Parents, we need your help!"
The letter goes on to say, "You and your children MUST practice social distancing, or we will be forced to end the free grab-and-go lunch sites. It is mandatory that adults and children stand at least 6 feet apart from each other. It does not matter if you are friends, or if you are sure they are fine, this needs to be enforced. We cannot control this without your help."
