MESA ARIZ. — The University of Utah is still scheduled to host the one and only vice-presidential debate in a couple of months.
We now know that debate will feature Vice-president Mike Pence, and California Senator Kamala Harris after presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden, announced his choice for a running mate Tuesday.
At a “Latter-day Saints for Trump” event in Mesa, Arizona Tuesday, Pence welcomed Harris to the race and said he's excited to take her on in Utah.
"So my message to the democratic candidate for vice-president, ‘congratulations, I'll see you in Salt Lake City.’"
The debate is set to happen at Kingsbury Hall on October 7.
