A dozen endangered black-footed ferrets released to the wilds of northeastern Utah

UINTAH COUNTY, Utah — A couple of weeks ago, the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources released 12 endangered black-footed ferrets in a remote section of Uintah County.

These releases are part of the continued efforts between many partners to increase the black-footed ferret populations in the western U.S.
