DRAPER, Utah — The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium's baby toucan now has a name.

The aquarium held a naming contest starting at the end of August, and on Monday they announced the results.

The Keel-billed toucan chick, who hatched June 17 and fledged July 31, will be named "Amor" — Spanish for "love."

Other options that didn't make the cut were "Rio" (river), "Milagro" (miracle), "Azul" (blue) and "Amarillo" (yellow).

The aquarium is participating in a Species Survival Plan for the threatened species of bird with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

Amor is already full-grown after only three months, but the aquarium has not yet been able to determine its sex.
