PROVO, Utah — Following Provo's move to the "orange" restriction level Brigham Young University is implementing further restrictions for their on-campus facilities and students.

All campus recreational facilities will be closed except for groups and classes with approval.

Visiting hours for guests to be in on-campus residence halls will be suspended and residence common areas including basketball and volleyball courts will be closed.

As far as classes and other students, the university implemented a hybrid-learning plan at the beginning of the semester and their current plans are already consistent with an orange-risk level plan.

The playgrounds at Wymount Terrace and Wyview Park will be also be closed.

Dine-in seating will continue to adhere by rules of social-distancing.

In addition, BYU Football will play its next two home games against Troy and LA Tech in LaVell Edwards Stadium without the attendance of any fans.

BYU is encouraging their students to continue using the "Healthy Together App" to assist with contact tracing.
