CEDAR CITY, Utah -- A brush fire off the side of the road in Cedar City ignited Saturday afternoon, causing dramatically tall flames that were caught on camera.
Fire officials say the blaze ignited at around 3:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon at milepost 58 on the east side of I-15. Officials say the fire grew to about .25 quarter miles in size but didn't disrupt the flow of traffic.
No structures were threatened during the fire, officials said. It took around 30 minutes to put out the blaze.
The cause of the fire was unknown at the time of this report.
