PROVO, Utah — Emergency responders shut down part of Provo's State Street and evacuated some medical offices due to a natural gas leak on Monday morning.
A Dominion Energy spokesman said the leak occurred at 754 N 500 W sometime before 8:45 when a third party dug into the ground and ruptured a gas line.
The gas leak forced the closure of State St. between 500 N and 800 N.
The roads and businesses affected have since been reopened.
