EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah -- A grass fire ignited on the hillside near Eagle Mountain Saturday evening and burned nearly 30 acres before becoming mostly contained.
Patrick Costin with the Unified Fire Authority said the fire was in a field east of Lake Mountain Road near Pony Express Parkway.
UFA officials tweeted Saturday the fire was 30 acres large, but the fire spread has "slowed significantly."
Two single-engine air tankers, one medium helicopter and multiple ground crews were fighting the fire.

Crews will actively patrol throughout the night and through the burn period tomorrow.
