'Hollow Fire' threatens dozens of structures in Sanpete Co.

INDIANOLA, Utah — Fire crews from multiple agencies are at the scene of a new wildfire that is threatening about 40 structures in Sanpete County on Friday.

According to Utah Fire Info, the "Hollow Fire" had burned an estimated 600 acres near Indianola as of about 6:30 p.m. with 7 percent containment.

Air and ground firefighting resources have been deployed to bring the fire under control.

The Sanpete County Sheriff's Office said "localized evacuations" are in place. Residents in the Big Horn Ranch area are being put on pre-evacuation notice.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
