HERRIMAN, Utah — Halloween treats came with a risk in 2020 with COVID-19 numbers on the rise.
The CDC recommending this year people should not participate in in-person Halloween festivities and should not give out candy to trick-or-treaters.
But many people came up with a creative solution to keep others safe.
“We just wanted to make sure that anyone who wanted to come could,” Herriman resident Amy Bridge told us when describing her “2020 Candy Slider.”
With many like her doing what they could to make sure people were safe, parents we spoke to were appreciative that people were doing their part to protect kids from the virus.
