WEST JORDAN, Utah — Jordan School District is offering free breakfast and lunch for enrolled students starting this week.

The meals are being sponsored by the Department of Agriculture and will be provided through the end of the year or until funding runs out.

All schools within the district will serve the meals in the cafeteria.

Free curbside pickup meals will also be available starting September 14 to all children 18 years and younger from 10 to 11 each weekday morning at Joel P. Jensen Middle School, Elk Ridge Middle School and South Hills Middle School.

Children must be present in order to collect a free meal.

The district is still encouraging parents to enroll for free and reduced meals so that when the funding expires they'll still be able to provide food for children
