IRON COUNTY, Utah — A K9 discovered 10 pounds of methamphetamine and 2.9 pounds of fentanyl pills during a traffic stop on the I-15.

The Utah Highway Patrol called in K9 Vojak and Corporal S. Peterson to help with the traffic stop at mile marker 60 on the I-15.

K9 Vojak was deployed around the outside of the vehicle on a free air sniff, in which he alerted officers of the odor of narcotics coming from inside the vehicle.

The methamphetamine was located in one box and the fentanyl pills were located in a second box.
