The man responsible for killing 4-year-old Holden Curtis in November of 2019 has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.
Carl Wayne Johnson was convicted of Automobile Homicide Negligence – DUI of Alcohol and/or Drugs, a second-degree felony.
Johnson was arrested after hitting Curtis and his mother in a crosswalk at 900 West and California Avenue.
Holden's mother sustained a broken femur and was transported to a local hospital.
Johnson has a history of DUI convictions, and was driving the SUV with improper registration and no insurance.
