MURRAY, Utah — Murray Police are advising the public to be on alert after another mountain lion was spotted early Tuesday morning.
The mountain lion was seen in the area of 1300 East to Van Winkle and 5600 South.
To stay safe, the Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) says parents should make sure children are in before dusk and to keep pets inside at night. They also suggest not approaching the animal if spotted.
There have been numerous mountain lion sightings in the east residential area over the last few weeks. Residents who spot a mountain lion should contact DWR or call the Murray Police Department at 801-840-4000.
