Firefighters from multiple departments responded to a house fire early Sunday morning.
Crews responded to 201 South 7th Street just after 7:00 AM after bystanders reported seeing flames coming from the home.
Upon arrival, crews could see smoke and visible flames coming from the attic, prompting them to make an interior fire attack to identify the seat of the fire, and gaining control of the spread in less than an hour.
22 firefighters from Ogden and Northview Fire Departments responded with four engines, a ladder truck, a rescue truck and two ambulances.
The occupant and their two dogs were safely out of the home when crews arrived.
Damages are estimated at $50,000, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
