SPANISH FORK, Utah — A single engine plane crashed in the Arrowhead Trail area after leaving the Spanish Fork airport Wednesday afternoon.
The occupants of the plane reported no injuries but the plane suffered damage to its landing gear.
The plane made an emergency landing in a field after citing engine problems, according to the Payson Police Department.
The National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration have been contacted and will conduct further investigation.
