Pedestrian dies after being struck by vehicle in Cedar City grocery store parking lot

CEDAR CITY, Utah — A 72-year-old man died early Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of a Cedar City grocery store, St. George News reported Tuesday.

The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Smith’s at 633 S. Main Street.

The man, identified as Michael Dahlia of Cedar City, later died from his injuries.
