SALT LAKE CITY — Jennifer Napier-Pearce, who has been the editor of The Salt Lake Tribune since 2016, is resigning, the news organization announced Wednesday.
Napier-Pearce cited differences with the newspaper’s board chairman and chief philanthropic patron Paul Huntsman, a report from the Tribune said.
“These differences have sharpened over the past six months and it has reached a point where the best thing for both me and the institution is to step aside," Napier-Pearce wrote in a letter to the nine-member board.
Her last day with the paper is August 14.
