WOODS CROSS, Utah — Woods Cross police are looking for a suspect in a shooting that happened late Tuesday night.

Investigators say it happened in the parking lot of a Smith's grocery store at 614 West and 2600 South.

Witnesses told police a group of people got into an argument, and three people got into a car and attempted to drive away.

That's when police say a man pulled out a handgun and fired several shots into the car as it sped off.

Police later learned two men went to a local hospital with gunshot wounds that did not appear to be life threatening.

The suspected gunman is described as an African American male, who was wearing a white hoodie at the time of the shooting.
