SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah — A semi-trailer caught fire Thursday morning on I-80 leaving behind its charred cargo spread across the westbound lanes of the interstate.
The trailer was fully engulfed in flames near the I-15 junction as first reponders got to the scene but thankfully the driver made it out without injuries.
The cargo appeared to be ice cream.
The cleanup was expected to last most of the morning.
