Salt Lake City firefighters worked to extinguish a fire that started at a Big O Tires shop late Friday night.
The fire started around 9:45 at 200 E and South Temple. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze as it began to spread to a vacant apartment building.
One firefighter required treatment for smoke inhalation.
South Temple was closed as fire crews worked to extinguish and investigate the blaze. The cause of the fire has not been released.
