SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City School District will expand its student meal program starting Monday to include six additional school sites and a wider range of times.
The change brings the total number of student meal sites to 22.
The meal service will also expand its times, serving meals from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The program is open to all children ages 0-18, regardless of meal benefit status or school enrollment.
The meals will be pre-prepared and packaged, and district staff will bring them directly to each family’s vehicle. Walk-up service is also available for those without vehicles.
