SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department is asking for the public's help in searching for a suspect involved in a hit-and-run.
On Jan. 19 around 1 a.m. a white Chevy Impala struck a pedestrian while traveling along 900 S W Temple.
Dashcam footage shows the driver hitting a pedestrian attempting to cross the road and proceeding to drive off.
The victim was in a crosswalk but was not signaled to cross.
The vehicle should have minor front passenger-side damage, according to SLCPD. Anyone with information is encouraged to call 801-799-3000 and reference case # 20-11828.
