SALT LAKE CITY — Wednesday is Earth Day, and the 50th Anniversary of the day that encourages everyone to take better care of our environment.
As horrific as the coronavirus is, one silver lining is that with fewer people driving and some operations idled, it is having some positive effects on pollution.
Due to requirements that limit large groups to gather, all of the normal Earth Day events have been canceled.
The Utah Department of Environmental Quality has a challenge for Utahns, especially those who are staying safe and staying home.
Jared Mendenhall with the Utah DEQ joined Fox 13's Lexie Johnson on Good Day Utah to explain the challenge.
