Two truckers stopped their vehicles on I-15 in Kaysville on Thursday after seeing a Utah Highway Patrol Trooper struggling to get someone on the ground.
UHP received calls of a pedestrian on the freeway, and when the Trooper attempted to get him off the road, he acted recklessly and needed to be taken into custody.
One trucker stopped his vehicle in the HOV lane, where the interaction was taking place. Others stopped to block traffic, and at least two stepped into to assist the Trooper.
UHP says they’re grateful for the truckers, adding they don’t know what would have happened had they not stepped in to help.
