SALT LAKE CITY — Utah's Department of Agriculture & Food is offering grants to help cut water use among agriculture producers.

Up to $250,000 will be offered to help cut water use on farms and ranches, some of the state's biggest consumers of water. It can involve retrofitting outdated systems to more water-efficient ones.

Information on the grants can be found here.

Utah is currently in a state of emergency due to extreme drought.
