LITTLE COTTONWOOD CANYON, Utah — Amazing video taken from a helicopter over the Cottonwood Canyons shows the awesome power of avalanches intentionally started to clear away any danger.

State Road 210 was closed off for nearly three days to give avalanche mitigation crews the opportunity to work, and to keep people safe. Resorts in the area were also placed in interlodge closures because of the avalanche danger.
