WENDOVER, Utah — The Wendover, Utah Police Department has acquired a hot air balloon for the patrol division.
Today is April 1, also known as "April Fool's Day."
According to a Facebook post, the balloon will enable police to have stealth surveillance, fast K9 deployment, and silent movement over the city.
The balloon patrol is expected to save fuel costs with no harm to the environment.
