GREENVILLE, S.C. — All one man wants for Christmas is a cast-iron skillet.

Of course, the skillet in question is more than just a piece of cooking equipment, it has sentimental value to the man's 81-year-old mother.

Stuart Dodson says his father accidentally donated the skillet to Goodwill in South Carolina before Thanksgiving, and now his mother is distraught, WYFF reports.

Dodson says the family heirloom holds special childhood memories for his mother as she was born on a farm in the South.

After calling around to nearby Goodwill locations, Dodson is offering a finder's fee to anyone who can help locate the Griswold brand skillet.

Dodson says he knows the skillet search is like finding a "needle in haystack," but he wants to help his parents have a happy holiday.
