MARIETTA, Ga. — When most kids are 12-years-old, they're probably more interested in the latest hit song from whatever pop star is "big" at the time or worrying what to wear to school the next day.
Caleb Anderson may be fascinated by all that, too. But Caleb is also focused on graduating college in about two semesters.
Not even a teenager, Caleb is a short step away from graduating from Chattahoochee Technical College in Georgia. The 12-year-old just started his second year at the school and has his sights set on bigger goals, according to WAGA.
Caleb is majoring in aerospace engineering and hopes to become an astronaut.
Caleb's mother, Claire, is a former teacher and says she could sense her oldest son had a special intellect.
"When he was about four weeks old, he was mimicking some of the stuff I was saying," says Claire.
His parents say Caleb was reading the U.S. Constitution when he was two. They felt it was time to enroll him in college when he became bored in his normal school.
Caleb says he wants to get an internship with Elon Musk and plans to get his bachelor's degree from Georgia Teach after graduating from CTC.
