CUMBERLAND CO., N.C. — It wasn't Burt "The Bandit" Reynolds or the Duke Brothers, but a state trooper caught someone else trying to run moonshine.
During a recent traffic stop in Cumberland County, a North Carolina trooper found 20 jugs of liquid that appeared to be water, but was, in fact, moonshine.
You know, hooch, mountain dew, homebrew, white lightning.
Trooper C. Oxendine also found a firearm during his investigation.
The case was handed over to North Carolina's Alcohol Law Enforcement.
