Comcast Utah is contributing $311,000 to nine local organizations that are assisting those significantly impacted by the global health crisis.

One of those partners is Neighborhood House - A local non-profit focused on giving children access to affordable high-quality childcare.

All children who attend the Neighborhood House are given access to high quality education, regardless of their families income and they provide low-income families an affordable option for care for their aging and disabled loved ones, while providing respite for caregivers.

The money from Comcast will go to help the Neighborhood House:
- increase the amount of hardship assistance they can provide to families experiencing increased financial difficulties which reduces their childcare cost to $0 for a period of 3 to 6 months.
- allow children to remain enrolled in high quality programs while their parents/caregivers work towards greater financial stability.
- Help to support low income families economic recovery from the impacts of the COVID 19 pandemic by providing wrap around services for the entire family.
- Keeping their staff employed.
