He shared a recipe to help us make the most of National Tortilla Chip Day.
QUESO FUNDIDO (CHEESE DIP)
1 CUP SHREDDED CHEESE BLEND
1 T MEXICAN QUESO FRESCO OR COTIJA CHEESE
CILANTRO TO GARNISH
¼ CUP FRESH SALSA
¼ CUP GREEN CHILE SAUCE
CORN CHIPS, CORN OR FLOUR TORTILLAS
ADD THE CHEESE, SALSA AND SAUCE TO A SMALL SAUCEPAN AND PLACE OVER MEDIUM HEAT. STIR CONSTANTLY UNTIL CHEESE IS MELTED AND CREAMY. SERVE HOT WITH WARMED CORN OR FLOUR TORTILLAS OR CORN CHIPS.
