LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Utah Jazz guard Mike Conley has returned to Walt Disney World after the birth of his son and will go through a quarantine period before joining the Jazz for their playoff series against Denver.
The Jazz announced he was back at the NBA campus following the team's practice Tuesday.
Conley is subject to a quarantine of at least four days in accordance with the NBA’s COVID-19 policies. He is expected to miss Wednesday's Game 2 but possibly could be back for Game 3 on Friday. The league is reviewing his situation.
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported that Conley returned to Orlando Monday night and that he is optimistic he will clear an imposed quarantine in time for Friday's game.

Conley traveled to Columbus, Ohio Sunday for the birth of their third son. The next day, he and wife Mary posted photos of the new baby, Elijah Michael Conley, on Instagram.
Conley missed Game 1 of the series, a 135-125 defeat despite Donovan Mitchell's 57 points.
