We're getting new snow in the mountains this week, but even before that skiing #InUtah has been great this season.
Paul Marshall with Ski Utah says they had all summer to plan for new COVID-19 protocols, and because of that everything is running smoothly.
Skiing and snowboarding is an excellent way to get in the fresh air, and get some exercise in a socially distanced way.
With so many people working from home, Marshall says they're seeing ebbs and flows more throughout the day, and that's providing opportunities for people to go at different times and experience different resorts.
And this year they're seeing more people "tailgating" in the parking lots of ski resorts. Some bring their own sack lunch, other resorts have food trucks there.
If you're one of the locals who hasn't skied yet, Ski Utah has programs to help you learn.
That includes 5th and 7th graders who can take part in the Ski Utah Passport Program.
