Keep your kids' minds and hands busy this summer

With many summer camps canceled this year, parents may be wondering how they can keep their kids' minds and hands busy this summer.

Clever Octopus has an idea for you -- at-home camp!

The camp consists of five separately packaged days, each with an educational component, and a multi-hour creative reuse activity.

Kids open one kit a day for a week-long camp experience, or spread them out as you wish!

Students of all ages can sew (and glue) their way through the solar system! You can customize it based on sewing abilities and knowledge level. All projects are designed to be completed without sewing at all - you can use glue, sticky vinyl and other materials instead of a needle and thread. Of course, you can embroider every square inch as well!

The kits do not require internet access and provide all the learning materials associated with the activities.

You can also purchase these kits on a sliding scale of $50-$100. These funds allow Clever Octopus to provide kits free of charge to communities in need.

Clever Octopus is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering creativity and environmental awareness through art, science, technology, engineering and math.
