Tuesday, October 13 the Salt Lake City Mission is hosting a Take One Give One food box giveaway.
It's happening at 1151 South Redwood Road in Salt Lake City between 9am and 1pm.
Pastor Joe Vazquez with the Salt Lake City Mission says they'll be giving away 1,500 food boxes, you can just drive by and pick them up. They're hoping you take one for your family, and take one to give away to a friend, neighbor or family member.
In October you can also Scare Away Hunger by donating food at Zurchers stores across the valley. They have brown bags with coupons on the outside. It tells you things they're trying to collect. You can drop off the bags once you've filled them.
You can find other locations to pick up and drop off bags on saltlakecitymission.org. You can also make a monetary donation there.
